The Phrases that often be used in Al-hadith
ü The phrase Alaih-e-Salam (peace be on him) is used with the names
of the prophets of Allah. In non-arabic It
is usually abbreviated and denoted after the name of the prophets of Allah. For example:
Ibrahim AS
ü The phrase Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam (peace and blessings of Allah
be upon him) is used with the name of the Holy Prophet Mohammad. It is sometimes abbreviated and denoted after
the name of the Holy Prophet Mohammad.
For example: Mohammad SAW.
ü The phrase Razi Allah Anho
(may Allah be pleased with him) is used with the names of the respected male
followers of the Holy Prophet Mohammad SAW..
It is sometimes abbreviated and denoted after the name. For example: Umar RA
ü The phrase Razi Allah Anha
(may Allah be pleased with her) is used with the names of the respected female
followers of the Holy Prophet Mohammad SAW.
It is sometimes abbreviated and denoted as a superscript after the
name. For example: Khadija RA
